Rail pads, also known as rail elastic pads, refer to pads made of rubber or plastic, which are installed between the rails and the concrete rail substructure. The main function of the rail pad is to buffer the high-speed impact and vibration generated when the vehicle passes through the track, protect the roadbed and sleepers, and electrically insulate the railway signal system.

* Continuous pads
Continuous crane rail pads are used to lay on continuous rail support surfaces, such as continuous steel bottom plates or H-beams. Due to the large force area, they can be used for heavy-duty rail systems.
In addition to conventional rubber pads, Kingrail Parts forms steel-reinforced rubber pads by implanting thin steel plates inside the rubber pads, which have better load-bearing capacity and longer service life. The thickness of our continuous pads is usually 7mm or 8mm, and the installation width is 5mm smaller than the rail bottom width.
* Discontinuous pads
Independent rail pads are used for track systems that use independent base plates. It can reduce the wear of the track due to friction and vibration. Independent rail pads can be made of rubber, but more often EVA materials are used, which have better oil resistance.
Kingrail Parts' EVA pads are produced using two production processes: extrusion and injection molding. The extrusion process has higher production efficiency, relatively lower cost, and better surface quality of injection molding.
